Every bicycle begins its journey long before it becomes a finished product – with the Inbound team in the warehouse. This is where trucks and sea containers loaded with bicycle components arrive. The components are unloaded, placed on pallets, scanned, and stored in the warehouse racks.
This process is overseen every day by Eiridas and Danielius, who have been with the company for almost two years, together with the rest of their team. Both joined the company when the factory was just starting its operations and the very first bicycles were being assembled.
Eiridas takes a moment to reflect on his first day at work:
“I remember my first day: the warehouse was completely new, large, and impressive. But what stood out the most were the people. From the very beginning, I felt like part of the team – everyone was willing to help and explain things.”
Speaking enthusiastically about one of his favorite aspects of the job – operating equipment – Eiridas says:
“I really enjoy driving, so working with forklifts is a pleasure for me. The first time I got into a high-reach forklift, I was immediately hooked by the experience.”
Working in a warehouse is also something close to Danielius. He enthusiastically shares that before joining the team, he spent 18 years working in the industry, so the pace of work and the equipment were already very familiar to him. However, throughout those years, he learned that the best results come from working as part of a strong team.
As he puts it:
“When you work together for a long time, you get to know your team members well. You know how to communicate with each other and how to work together effectively. The team is very important here.”
Although some days can be more challenging than others, maintaining a positive atmosphere in the team is surprisingly simple. Smiling, Eiridas mentions one thing:
“Jokes.”
They are a constant part of everyday life among colleagues, making even the busiest days feel lighter.
When asked to describe their team in three words, both colleagues answer without hesitation:
Strong. Meticulous. Always ready to help.
A team that supports one another. A team where every bicycle’s journey begins.
Once all bicycle components are in their designated places, the journey continues. This is where the Outbound team takes over. 😊
