New modern and sustainable factory

The Pon.Bike factory will open its doors and start operating in the middle of 2024. The three-storey building will house bicycle assembly and paint workshops, as well as a warehouse and administrative offices. The factory is designed by 2L Architects, and developed by YIT Lietuva.

It is built in accordance with the Breeam Excellent Sustainable Buildings certification, to ensure the building’s operational efficiency and environmental friendliness, and to provide a high-quality workplace for the factory employees.

The factory will have an A++ energy rating and will be self-sufficient, with 10,000 square metres of solar panels installed on its roof to generate electricity. It will also feature other “green” solutions, such as charging stations for electric bikes and cars. In addition to the buildings, the 127,000 square metre site will include 435 parking spaces.
