Lithuania - Europe's bicycle manufacturing centre

The international news channel "Bike Europe", based in the Netherlands, tells us that the arrival of the "Pon" Group in Lithuania makes the country one of the main bicycle manufacturing locations in Europe.

"Baltik Vairas", a local, internationally renowned company, is already established in Lithuania. Chinese investor Steve Zhu of Nantong Dingyu Vehicle Industry CO. has also set up a production base here, taking advantage of the country's convenient location between Shanghai, China and European markets.
