Senior warehouse operator

About the role

We invite you to join Pon.Bike Lithuania as a Warehouse operator and become a part of the world-leading bicycle family Pon.Bike. You will report to the Team lead Warehouse at Pon.Bike Lithuania and your main task will be to help the team lead to ensure that the parts needed for production are assembled, unpacked and delivered on time.

Your responsibilities 

• To pick the raw material (using scanner and electric trolley) according to the internal orders prepared by the production departments. 

• Be responsible for the unpacking and delivery of selected raw materials to production.

• Perform various tasks in the warehouse (e.g. stacking, unpacking, transporting, counting, loading products, etc.).

• Working with SAP system (issuing and returning goods to the warehouse).

• Supporting the team lead in daily work processes on an ongoing basis.

• To contribute to the optimisation of the process.

• To work under the set policies, procedures and values. 

• To follow all the Health & Safety requirements.

• To be a good team player, which means helping each other and assisting where needed.

• To work on other tasks dedicated by the Team Lead or Department Manager. 

We expect that you:

• Meticulousness and attention to detail.

• Work experience in the warehouse- big advantage.

• Knowledge of the SAP system and the ability to use it in daily operations.

• Experience driving a forklift (advantage).

• Computer literacy.

• Are able to follow the procedures and instructions that are set for the job. 

• Are willing to contribute with the ideas for improvement (if you have knowledge of LEAN concepts, methods and techniques- it would be an advantage). 

• From a personality perspective, you like to collaborate with colleagues, and are a motivated results-oriented person. 

• Are able to communicate in Lithuanian (verbal and written).
