Senior Wheel-Assembly operator

About the role

We invite you to join the Pon.Bike family, a global leader in bicycle manufacturing, and become the Senior Wheel-Assembly operator at Pon.Bike Lithuania. In this role, you will report to the Team Lead Wheel-Assembly.

Your responsibilities 

• Ensure technical maintenance and smooth operation of the line: work with production equipment / automation, independently search for and eliminate minor technical or mechanical malfunctions.

• Take responsibility for the result of the line: take care not only of personal work, but also of the efficiency, quality and achievement of the common goal of your entire line (team).

• Communicate and help team members: provide information clearly, train line operators, help them in case of difficulties and maintain a good team atmosphere.

• Supervise processes and maintain order: ensure that employees comply with production standards, safety requirements and cleanliness (5S) principles in their workplace.

• Show initiative and leadership (be the manager's "right hand"): make daily decisions in your line, promptly resolve emerging problems and cooperate closely with the team leader.

We expect that you:

• Experience in a manufacturing company (work on an assembly line is a big advantage).

• Diligence, attention to detail.

• Ability to work according to established procedures and instructions at work.

• Willingness to participate in process improvement projects, to propose ideas (knowledge of LEAN concepts, methods and techniques is an advantage).

• Communicative skills when working with colleagues, result-oriented.

• Knowledge of the Lithuanian language (oral and written).
