About the role

We invite you to join the Pon.Bike Lithuania team as Production Planner and become a part of the world-leading bicycle family Pon.Bike. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and you will be required to develop and implement an effective production plan to ensure adequate supply to the market.

Your responsibilities 

  • To prepare a production plan based on the demand for bicycles.

  • To coordinate production operations in the different departments to ensure a continuous flow of production, taking into account the number of employees, installations and orders.

  • To recommend optimal solutions to reduce production costs and improve production processes and product quality.

  • To make changes to the production plan to ensure sales orders.

  • To initiate (in consultation with the Supply Chain Manager) proposals to improve existing procedures and practices and to achieve process optimisation.

  • To prepare reports on planning activities and submit them to management in a timely manner.

  • To maintain good relations with the team, share experiences, assist, cooperate in the execution of tasks in the supply department.

  • To have a good knowledge of Pon.Bike Lithuania business processes in the respective area of competence and as one of the main users of SAP to ensure that the processes are executed correctly, to coordinate actions, to maintain process descriptions and plans.

  • To provide support to end-users, perform acceptance testing before changes are implemented.To supervise and control inventory levels, ensuring production needs and optimising costs.

  • To communicate with suppliers, send them orders, share demand forecasts and solve problems.

  • To ensure receipt of materials from order to arrival at the warehouse.

  • To update and maintain information in the company's ERP system.

  • Make suggestions (in consultation with the Supply Chain Manager) to improve existing procedures and practices and optimise existing processes.

  • To prepare reports on the current situation and activities.

  • To maintain good relations with the team: share experiences, make suggestions, listen to needs and help others to perform their tasks in the supply chain.

  • To work on the other tasks delivered by the Supply Chain Manager. 

We expect that you:

  • Have a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or related fields.

  • Having at least 2 years of experience in production planning.

  • Are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills. 

  • Have effective communication and excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Are a results-oriented person with a passion to perform. 

  • Are able to communicate in Lithuanian and English at an intermediate level (verbal and written).

  • Experience with SAP (big advantage).
