End-Assembly front operator

About the role

We invite you to join the Pon.Bike Lithuania team as a Senior End-Assembly line operator and become a part of the world-leading bicycle family Pon.Bike. You will report to the Team Lead End-Assembly and will be responsible for optimal running of the production process.

Your responsibilities: 

• Ensure the necessary production parts for the end-assembly line.

• Work closely with parts supply operators to ensure a smooth production process.

• Train new employees in all final assembly line operations.

• To know the different models of bicycles, the materials used, the functional requirements and the method of production in its own company.

• To know work instructions and quality standards.

• To be a good team player, which means helping each other, changing colleagues at their working places and assisting where needed. 

• To work under the set policies, procedures and values. 

• To follow all the Health & Safety requirements.

• To work on other tasks dedicated by the Team Lead or Department Manager. 

We expect that you:

• Have experience in a production company (experience in close areas- an advantage).

• Are able to follow the procedures and instructions that are set for the job. 

• Are willing to contribute with the ideas for improvement (if you have knowledge of LEAN concepts, methods and techniques- it would be an advantage). 

• From a personality perspective, you like to collaborate with colleagues, and are a motivated results-oriented person. 

• Have good communication skills which will help you to work with a lot of people and teach them. 

• Are able to communicate in Lithuanian and English (verbal and written).
